Allele Frequencies in World Populations

Populations » Multidimensional scaling (MDS) Analysis

About this search

This section has been designed to provide users with a tool to perform population analysis (e.g. multidimensional scaling) using the Gene[RATE] tools developed by the AGP group at the University of Geneva. At present, users can select a set of populations which have been validated following the HLA-NET standards.

How to

1) Select the locus to analyse.
2) Populations will be filtered based on the availability of loci typed. (You can only analysed one locus at a time).
3) Once you have selected your locus, select the populations you wish to include in your analysis and click "Analyse". (Up to 20 populations per analysis)
4) You will be prompted with the results in a new window.
